I have a wedding coming up in December. Originally I was supposed to be a bridesmaid but one of the groomsmen dropped out so now i'm just attending. Now the wedding isn't super formal because it's a bit of a shotgun affair and I have a sneaking suspicion knowing the friends of both bride and groom that some people are definitely going to show up in their best jeans, however, the bride's dress is of the Cinderella type.

I'm expected to wear a dress, but after trying some on the other day I really don't know what style would be best for my body type. I'm very tall, 5'10, and very slender about 135 pounds. I'm small-chested, with narrow shoulders and good-sized hips, about 40". Most of the selection I saw was of the backless sort which tied like a halter top around the neck. These made me look TOTALLY flat chested with enormous hips. Any stylish people out there know what kind of dress would minimize my hips and make my chest seem more in porportion? Would wearing a cardigan over my shoulders help?

Light on top and darker on bottom, diagonal eyeline pieces and material with slightly more structure will be good. I once got a really, really great dress from a store called Cache, and I've seen them in a lot of malls. Look for one of those. Also, if there is a White House/Black Market store near you, they have really nice, really classic clothes.

I would suggest a round neck, maybe backless, sleeveless affair to show off your arms and back, which on a tall, thin person should be quite attractive. Maybe look for skirts cut on the bias, A-line, anything to emphasize your waist as being small and bruidsmeisjes jurken skm over your hips. Look in the grown-ups dress departments; do not limit yourself to Juniors. Finally, try everything on. Seriously. Just get a pile of stuff and try it all on. The one dress I've had that I've loved and worn to about a trillion functions I never would have thought would look good, but I was talked into Korte Cocktailjurken trying it on. Oh, and if you have an honest friend to take along, do that. It's nice to have a dress-shopping wing-person who won't lie to you to get you out of the store.

In the end, he managed to get her phone number, and he finally deared to leave a message on her answering machine, but alas, he had to travel to Paris, so he also left a message begging if she could call him on his mobile phone. So the short story is mostly about the guy, sitting in the appartment in Paris, waiting, thinking. "Will the love of my life call? Will she not? She must! Abelard had his Cosette, Romeo had his Juliet, Marius had his Cosette. I must have my Miriam!" etc., etc., you get my drift And, in the sad end, the reader is informed that "far away, in the capital of Norway, in a small apartment flowing with French books, was a sweet girl called Miriam just murdered by her jealous boyfriend". I seemed to shock everybody with that ending "Gosh! Like, I thought she was going to call the bloke or somethin'!" I'm actually very proud of the story - I wrote about feelings and love, which I very seldom do, but I still didn't think it was so bad ! 'From this point on it is allowed for naturists to practice', ok we were shocked to say the least but when a stark naked man walked in front of the car and gave us a friendly wave, I have never seen someone reverse so quickly as my Dad did just then. Thousands in South Korea mourn Moon

Some took the opportunity for a "pilgrimage" tour of the 1000-hectare Gapyeong estate, including the vast White House-modelled mansion where Moon's body lay in state in a glass-topped coffin.

The scenic estate, which overlooks a large lake, houses a host of modern facilities, including schools, training centres and a hospital where Moon was treated in the last days of his life.

More than 150,000 mourners from South Korea and abroad, including 32,000 from Japan, are expected to pay their respects over the next 10 days, they added.
